HVAC and Air Duct Cleaning in Billings, Montana

Here at AmeriClean, we have seen quite an uptick in demand for our HVAC and Air Duct Cleaning services in Billings, Montana and surrounding areas. This demand is for both homes and office buildings. I’m guessing it’s partially because of the recent COVID-19 news announcing that by keeping our indoor air cleaner, we can significantly reduce fine particulate, germs, and other microbial material in the air we breathe. In addition to floating in the air freely, Coronavirus often uses these particles (dust, lint, mold spores, bacteria) to transport themselves to new victims! Viruses have recently been found to remain airborne for days. Wouldn’t you agree that cleaner homes and cleaner indoor air equates directly to staying safer and healthier?

The USEPA, CDC, ABC News, and many other sources now assert that to help protect against COVID-19, increasing ventilation for indoor air should be considered as a part of an overall plan to protect people along with hand washing, distancing, and disinfecting.

There has also been a dramatic increase of people having allergy and asthma exacerbations triggered by the excessive use of biocides (yes, disinfectants). This is directly caused by people running around with spray bottles filled with bleach, squirting everything in sight. Most people know that breathing bleach and other disinfectant fumes is dangerous to our health…but the COVID focus is drowning out more reasonable approaches to protect ourselves. A great way to add protection is with Air Duct Cleaning and HVAC Cleaning in Billings, Montana.

The CDC stated that “Indoor spaces are more risky than outdoor spaces where it might be harder to keep people apart and there is less ventilation.” They advise us to give special consideration to increasing ventilation when occupancy is high. They go on to advise that “in addition to helping reduce risk from airborne transmission of viruses, improving filtration and ventilation also benefits indoor air quality by reducing exposure to products used for cleaning and disinfecting potentially contaminated surfaces.”
